Mrs. Faresa Jafarey Ahsan is a Barrister-at-Law and a leading corporate lawyer in Pakistan. She completed BA (Hons.) in Politics and Literature from the University of Punjab and BA (Hons.) in Law from the University of Buckingham. She is enrolled as an Advocate in the High Courts of Pakistan and is a Member of the Karachi Bar Association and Sindh Bar Council.
Faresa Jafarey Ahsan has been at the forefront of all corporate and commercial transactions conducted by the firm since 1984. She is a renowned expert in the area of banking and finance, including Islamic finance and routinely advises all major banks on their Islamic banking products and documentation along with structuring of Islamic finance.
Faresa also has the distinction of being involved in the first ever LNG project in Pakistan and led the legal team in providing extensive legal services to Sui Southern Gas Company Limited on the entire LNG supply chain.
Faresa heads the LNG projects team at LMA and continues to be engaged in major LNG projects and LNG related work in Pakistan.
Faresa has provided extensive advice on software contracts and electronic payment systems and the legal framework and documentation for the same.
