Major work highlights include advising a leading Pakistani Bank on the acquisition of its core banking application from Fidelity USA and various third party service providers, including Siemens. The services provided included all negotiations and review, advice and drafting in respect of all contracts such as maintenance, service levels and escrow contracts, as well performance and advance payment guarantees.
We also have in-depth knowledge of the telecom regime operating in Pakistan, and our lawyers have represented the majority of telecommunication companies in relation to their local loop, wireless and long distance and international, and mobile and class value added licenses, which include the provision and transmission of broadband services through various mediums.
